From Humble Beginnings...

Nolan and Doyle Culp started Nolan’s back in 1953 in a little Quonset Hut on Ayers Street here in Corpus Christi, Texas. Nolan’s son, Nolan, and his two sons, Nolan Jr and Kevin are still feeding families. A lot has changed over 70 years, but one thing that has stayed the same is their focus on serving high quality, scratch-made food for several generations. Today, they have three locations that feature choice steaks, gulf coast seafood, Bar-B-Que and of course their Original Poorboy Sandwich. In addition to our dining rooms, we offer banquet rooms that fit up to 45-60 people, off premise catering, and pick up meals for large groups.
